The day after Christmas, I was standing in a very long line in a department store attempting to make some returns, when I decided to pull out my scarf. I got many looks from people that read You honestly thin this is the time to just whip out your knitting or whatever you call it?( those were probably all of the non-knitters) as well as a few looks that said wow, I wish I had thought of that!(Those people were probably the knitters) At any rate though I got at least two rows done on my scarf(one of which being a cable row) before I reached the checkout stand. That means I was two rows closer to a nice warm scarf, two rows closer to a new project, two rows closer to having another knitting project actually completed! The moral of this story? Almost anywhere is a good place to knit!

My Scarf!

My latest knitting project is the Here and There Cables scarf from Scarf style by Pam Allen. I am knitting it with Malabrigo Kettle Dyed Pure Merino Wool in Vermillion(which in this case is kind of a pinkish red). I love this yarn! It seems to get softer and softer as you knit. I think it`s perfect for a scarf, I just hope I can get it finished in time to wear this Winter.

Mary Alice`s four babies grew up very quickly. There were two white bunnies, Davy Jones,(later Jelly Bean Jones) and Hannah (later Frith Cadbury) as well as two grey bunnies, Lt. Lettuce, and Ruthie Ann( later seamus). The reason so many of the names were changed, is because all of the baby bunnies were boys.

The picture to your left is a baby picture of Mary Alice. This picture was taken when she was about four months old. The picture to your right is Captain Carrots at four months old. In Cuppy`s picture you can see Mary Alice`s head. She`s probably thinking..."Hey, Don`t you want to take some more pictures of me?! After all, I am the cutest of them all". Mary Alice is very prissy, she knows she is one of the most high matinence bunnies around. Captain carrots on the other hand, is easy to please. He really likes carrots.
